The effects of global warming is now haunting the world and one of most experienced is the sudden climate change. There are two causes for this. Natural and man-made
Man-made causes probably do the most damage to our planet. There are many man-made causes of global warming. The major damage causing element is pollution. Everywhere we go, especially in the urbanized areas, we always have pollution. These are the structures that emit carbon dioxide and contaminants into an environment that causes instability, disorder, harm or discomfort to the ecosystem. Factories, automobiles, wastes and certain appliances and machines contribute to the forming of pollution.
The next man-made cause is the population. It all boils down to the people. The more people there are, the more pollution is caused. Additional numbers of humans requires more cars. And more cars mean more gas. The ratio also requires more food and more necessities. And this means more waste.
In return, we humans do nothing about it. We use all the natural resources the earth has to offer and we replace nothing in return. A larger population means more CO2 produced. Because of the lack of trees, since we do not restore the ones we cut, not enough oxygen is replaced.
However, there is a growing understanding that the only way out of the climate change crisis is for all future businesses and even households to be carbon neutral, thereby being a solution to the problem and not contributing to it.
On the blog www.startup-poor.com, my aim is to promote the above idea especially to the billions of poor who are starting to enter the world market and want to improve their living standards.
Companies right now are the ones that take up most of the energy because of their large establishments. They are doing eco-friendly ways and teaching their employees to do the same. If you’re still not involved into transforming your business to “green”, check out the link above and do something now before it’s too late.
