If there’s one thing that is high competition in the market today it has to be the cheap, the durable, and the trendy. In other words, this is none other than plastic.

Every corner in the world and every side of the house, plastic is evident. Because of the material’s physical properties, it has become one of the most used substances in the world. However, due to its excessive use, this useful material has become a source of pollution. According to an estimate, more than 100 million tons of plastic is produced every year all over the world. Aside from that, plastic takes centuries to decay.

Because of the so-called plastic invasion, environmentalists are urging the public to cut-off the use of plastic. We know for a fact that abruptly stopping the usage of plastic is a very huge favor that is very difficult to follow. Fortunately, there is an alternative!

My idea is to help in the recycling of plastic through women who are creative, artsy and eco-friendly all at the same time. They can co-create the following materials into new ones that are fit for decoration and accessorizing.

Who says accessories only have to be made of gold, silver or Swarovski? Because of the financial crisis right now, cheaper stuff is a big help in the industry and what is cheaper will be more patronized.

Women may start of by contacting recycling plants that reuses plastic where they can order their materials for accessory making. If they’re a bit challenging and edgy, they can recycle it themselves. Since plastic is very flexible, they can make anything out of it!

This business is not only for one to earn money but it’s also a way of having fun through creativity. Plus, it helps on saving the environment too.
